Centralized Management

SD-WAN optimizes traffic routing, providing reliable and high-speed connections by prioritizing critical applications and dynamically adapting to network conditions.

SD-WAN reduces expenses by leveraging cost-effective broadband connections and minimizing hardware requirements, offering an economical alternative to traditional WAN solutions.

SD-WAN simplifies network operations with a centralized control plane, making it easy to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network issues from a single interface.

VPN

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a secure and private network connection that extends a private network across a public network, enabling users to send and receive data as if they were directly connected to the private network.

Types of VPNs:

  • Remote Access VPN: Allows users to securely connect to a remote network, such as a corporate network, from a different location using an internet connection.
  • Site-to-Site VPN: Connects multiple fixed locations, like branch offices, to a central network over the internet, enabling secure communication between these sites.
  • Extranet-Based VPN: Allows external users, such as customers or business partners, to access specific resources within a company's network, while restricting access to other resources.
  • Intranet-Based VPN: Provides secure and controlled access to a company's network for internal employees working remotely or in different office locations.
  • VPN Service Providers: Third-party services that offer VPN access to users for improved online privacy, anonymous browsing, and accessing geo-restricted content. These services are popular among individuals concerned about online security and censorship.

Point 2 Point connection

Point-to-point Layer 2 (L2) connections, also known as Layer 2 VPNs or Virtual Private Wire Services (VPWS), create a direct, private link between two locations using Layer 2 data connections, such as Ethernet or Frame Relay. This connection type forms a closed network, ensuring secure data transmission without relying on the public internet.

Point-to-point L2 connections offer several advantages, such as high bandwidth, low latency, and improved security, making them suitable for organizations with demanding connectivity requirements.

hotspot wi-fi

  • Access Point Setup: A wireless access point (AP) is set up and connected to an internet source, like a modem or router.
  • WiFi Network Creation: The access point broadcasts a WiFi signal, creating a wireless network.
  • Network Name (SSID): Users can identify the network using its Service Set Identifier (SSID), or network name.
  • Authentication: Users connect to the WiFi network using their device's WiFi settings, often requiring authentication via a password or accepting terms of service.
  • IP Address Assignment: Once connected, the access point assigns an IP address to the user's device, enabling communication with the internet.
  • Data Encryption: Data transmitted over the WiFi network is typically encrypted to protect users' privacy and security.
  • Internet Access: With an established connection and encryption, the user can now access the internet through the Hotspot WiFi network.
  • Logging and Monitoring: The WiFi network may log user activity and monitor traffic to ensure fair usage and prevent abuse or illegal activities.
